PACKING TIPS
Regardless who does the packing, it is important to use the proper size carton and to make certain that the contents are well cushioned. If you plan to do the packing yourself, start collecting boxes and other supplies early. It is important to have all packing done prior to moving day. It's never too early to get started.
It is not uncommon to have 100 boxes in an average size house, so you can see why you don't want to wait until the day before your move to start packing. Seaford Transfer offers a wide variety of packing supplies to accommodate your needs.
Clean newsprint, in 25 pound bundles, can be used to wrap fragile items and cushion other contents. Bubble wrap, in sheets or rolls, offers additional protection. Three ply paper pads are used to wrap large items needing extra protection. Rolls of 2" carton sealing tape are recommended for taping cartons shut.
Reference the list below for the size and suggested use of cartons available. Supplies purchased to be used in conjunction with a move scheduled with Seaford Transfer can be delivered to your residence.
