Pre-Move/In-Home Surveyor (Outside Sales Representative)
To provide the company, estimator, packers, and movers an
accurate picture of the potential move and the scope of work involved. After the initial phone contact with the
customer this is the next most important impression for Seaford Transfer to win
the customer's business for both residential and commercial moves. Providing the customer/member an accurate
picture of how their move will be handled and steps involved is required of all
Use iPad and QuickMove SurveyHD to inventory all
furniture & cartons.
Document/detail any extraordinary items or
unusual pieces that will need extra care.
Notes accessibility for move crew to include
drive access, long-carry, steps/elevators, etc.
Accurately determine shipment weight for
appropriate scheduling of move/pack crews, interstate/intrastate driver???s load
allowance, or tariff pricing.
Effectively manage & produce 3-4 surveys
Other duties as may be assigned by management.
School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). A minimum of one year related
experience and/or training with a household goods transportation company is
preferred. Those candidates with
customer service experience will be given preference. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills. Time management skills are a must. Computer skills are required and used on a
